Precise measurements of heat build-up or blowout processes and the identification of the thermal set can be carried out by the HBU 523 Gabometer system. It is a development made depending on the fixed Goodrich Flexometer.
Both force- and elongation-controlled tests can be performed with this advanced flexometer. The HBU 523 Gabometer is ideal for enhancing the thermal durability and dissipation of the semi-finished tire components, absorbers, or dampers.
The new generation flexometer helps measure the material stiffness (E modulus, tanδ option) and damping.

Accessories
Sample Holder
Pair of insulated compression sample holders targeted for flexometer tests fitted with a contact thermocouple is available for recording the sample temperature on the surface of the test specimen during heat build-up tests.
Recording of the sample “center” temperature inside the core of the test specimen during heat build-up tests together with a needle-type manual mode (Option) thermocouple (horizontal operation).
Automatic recording of the sample “center” temperature within the core of the test specimen following heat build-up tests having a needle-type thermocouple (vertical operation) driven by a pneumatic penetration system automatic mode (Option).

Automatic Sample Changer
Compression magazine goes for up to 50 compression testing specimens. A robot grip system available takes the samples from the magazine and feeds the HBU 523 Gabometer.
