AvaLight-D(H)-S: The Ultimate Powerhouse Deuterium Halogen Light Source

If customers want more power than the AvaLight-DHc, the AvaLight-DH-S is Avantes' most robust deuterium halogen source. Similar to the DHc, the DH-S is a hybrid light source that can emit light in the UV, VIS, and NIR spectrum.

However, it possesses up to 300 times more deuterium power and 35 times more halogen output. A significant deuterium peak at 656 nm in the source may limit the dynamic range (Avalight-DH-S-BAL is an option). It comes with a focusing lens assembly so users can maximize the fiber's size and potential.

The AvaLight-D-S exclusively serves as a deuterium light source, making it ideal for measurements in the UV range from 190 to 400 nm. For deep-UV research, the AvaLight-D-S-DUV variant begins even lower, at 175 nm. At 200 nm, this variant gives twice the intensity.

The AvaLight-DH-S's output is designed to work with fibers or bundles as small as 600 µm. The focus point on larger fibers can be manually adjusted to maximize the light fiber receives.

The AvaLight-D(H)-S has a built-in TTL shutter and filter holder that can accommodate filters of up to 50 × 50 × 5.0 mm.
