Air-Protection Module for Reactive Sample Handling

Coxem's enhanced air-protection module was designed to handle and analyze air-sensitive or easily oxidized materials. It incorporates a new, specially designed air protection holder that provides a completely sealed environment. Designed to be used within a glove box filled with inert gases such as nitrogen or argon, the Air-protection module ensures sample integrity and protects the sample from air exposure during preparation.

Once prepped, samples can be put directly onto Coxem's SEM for surface analysis utilizing the air protection holder. Alternatively, they can be cross-sectioned with an Ion Beam Polisher before being examined in the SEM.
