FTIR Spectrometers

RSS
FTIR Spectrometers conduct chemical analysis based on how a sample absorbs light in the infrared part of the spectrum as the absorption of IR light is directly related to the bonds present in various molecules. The method uses an algorithm to convert raw infrared data into a usable IR spectrum. FTIR spectrometers are especially useful for identifying organic chemicals in a whole variety of applications. However, it can also be used effectively with some inorganic compounds. FTIR is superior to conventional IR testing methods as it provides greater resolution, better signal-to-noise, easier evaluation of very small specimens and poorly-absorbing species, and much faster testing.
