Umeco’s composite materials have been used by Ottobock HealthCare for producing prosthetic limbs for athletes globally. Umeco’s VTM 264 unidirectional carbon reinforced epoxy resin prepregs were selected in order to fabricate the blades that are being used by athletes such as Heinrich Popow and Kelly Cartwright.
