Cabot to Build Another Carbon Black Plant in Brazil

Cabot Brasil, a subsidiary of Cabot Corp announced that they intend to build a state-of-the-art carbon black unit at their Maua facility in Sao Paulo, Brazil.

The new plant, which is the third such carbon black plant at this site is scheduled to commence production in late 2005. It will bring the plants’ capacity to 120,000 metric tons per year.
