New Tighter Fitting Quick Seal Clamp for Dust Collection Ductwork

Nordfab Ducting, the industry-leading manufacturer of clamp-together ducting for dust, mist, smoke and fume collection, has introduced its new, tighter-fitting Quick-Seal Clamp.

The new clamp is designed to improve the performance and efficiency of dust collection ductwork systems.

The Nordfab clamp-together dust collection ductwork assembles in half the time of standard flanged ducting without screws, welds, bolts, rivets or precise measurements. It can be taken apart for easy cleaning and reconfigured to accommodate floor plan changes.

Nordfab's new, innovative Quick-Seal clamp features an overlapping tongue which creates downward pressure on all 360 degrees of the seal. This uniform force creates an extremely tight seal which improves dust collection system efficiency and allows for low some positive-pressure dilute-phase conveying.

"Tighter seals provide greater savings," says Tom Ballus, Nordfab Ductwork division manager. "With the Quick-Seal Clamp, air leakage is minimized, and fans don't have to work as hard. Compared to other clamping systems, the new Nordfab clamp delivers significant energy savings over the lifetime of the dust collection system."

The Quick-Seal Clamp also features a longer, stronger handle to improve leverage for easier clamping. It is manufactured in the United States and is standard on all Quick-Fit ducting orders.
