As of January 2010, a renewed certification according to the upgraded DS/EN ISO 9001:2008 has been achieved by Noliac Motion. The certification is valid until the year 2013 and was achieved with acknowledgements.
ISO certified 3 years already
Since January 2007, Noliac Motion has been certified according to ISO standards.
Quality Assurance Manager Lotte J. Beck:
- The ISO-certification is important to us as it assures consistent quality in our piezo products. The certification pledges compliance with customers' quality requirements, applicable regulations and environmental objectives; in total the foundation of our company.
- The quality system is being used actively and with great benefits of all employees! It is an excellent tool in our daily work, Lotte adds up.
No deviations but 6 appreciative initiatives
The audit in December 2009 went smoothly. Lead auditor Jesper Halmind from Det Norske Veritas encountered no deviations, 3 suggestions for improvements and 6 appreciative initiatives/ acknowledgements!
Appreciative initiatives:
- The quality system has been revised and made more user friendly for employees
- A good management and evaluation report has been prepared, including an overview of activities to be undertaken in each quarter of 2010. Further, an evaluation of the quality system will take place regularly four times every year
- A good internal audit has been conducted by management and many suggestions for improvements were found
- Relevant work instructions and safety data sheets are at hand at individual workplaces
- Non-conformance products and improvement proposals are now recorded directly via the intranet
- There has been developed a competence matrix including relevant parts of the strategic plan
