Every year Technip rewards its top suppliers through its Supply Star Award program. 90 raw material and service suppliers are assessed on the basis of performance (quality, lead time, cost), proactivity, and risk management criteria.
For many years Rilsan and Kynar technical polymers have represented a complementary offer of high-performance products for the oil industry, in particular for flexible subsea flowlines that need to withstand extreme temperature and pressure conditions.
On February 4th 2010 Arkema received the Supply Star Award 2010 rewarding the best progress plan. This award marks recognition by the Technip Le Trait (Seine-Maritime, France) flexible pipe manufacturing plant of Arkema's 2009-2010 offering for its Kynar and Rilsan products in particular in terms of:
- continuous improvement in process, quality and service,
- new product offering and approval,
- efficiency and shared cost savings.
This prize illustrates the ability of Arkema's personnel to maintain and boost the confidence of an operator and key customer in the Oil & Gas market, who has been a partner of Arkema activities for 35 years.
