cei will be showcasing its extensive line of flexible packaging solutions. These innovative solutions are designed to optimally meet the most demanding needs in the market today including a wide variety of packaging formats, barrier controls and an extensive array of convenience features. cei's three flexible packaging facilities provide backup manufacturing processes and logistic efficiencies. New state-of-the art flexible packaging equipment also ensures manufacturing efficiencies. As a market facing company, cei is also a sustainable packaging leader.

"We are very excited to be exhibiting at Pack Expo for the very first time. cei has made a large commitment to flexible packaging and our exhibit at the show will showcase that commitment," said Lynda Swenson, cei's Vice President of Flexible Packaging.

Also on display will be cei's industry leading pinch bottom woven poly bags. A Thiele sealer will be in the booth heat sealing bags during the show. cei debuted these revolutionary pinch bottom bags earlier this year. These American made bags offer the benefit of an attractive display space for product messages, and perform like paper bags on existing heat-seal equipment fillings lines. The bags offer customers an alternative to traditionally sewn closures and provide the benefit of durability, strength and competitive differentiation and are ideal for packaging petfood, animal feed, bird seed and lawn and garden products.

Other featured items include:

  • An expanded line of technical products including award winning Clean Strip™ easy open ream wrap feature, reflective and radiant barrier offerings for the insulation market.

"With our extensive experience with lightweight, high performance coatings and a broad array of substrates, we really have a lot to talk about and are looking forward to discussions with attendees at the show," said Julie George, cei's Vice President of Technical Products.
