The launch of Easipaste, Bartoline’s technically advanced wallcoverings adhesive for the retail market, is benefitting from the use of printed plastic pails manufactured by RPC Containers Oakham.
Bartoline has been at the forefront of innovative, highly effective wallcovering adhesives for many years and currently supplies both Bartoline-branded and customer ‘own label’ products, primarily geared towards trade users.
Looking to extend its expertise to amateur DIY enthusiasts, the company introduced Easipaste, an easy spread adhesive suitable for all types of wallcoverings, including vinyls, blown vinyls, washables, and even paste-the-wall papers. With no mixing or dilution required, the adhesive can be applied directly to the paper or wall from the container.
Bartoline needed a wide-mouthed but lightweight and practical pack to complement Easipaste’s convenience. As the company sources a huge range of packaging from across the RPC Group (including its UKSC, Blackburn and Llantrisant sites), Bartoline went to RPC Oakham, specialists in injection moulded polypropylene pails.
The 2.5, 5 and 10 litre pails are fitted with a resealable lid, and dry-offset printed in vivid yellow and black colours for an eye-catching finish. The container is also fully recyclable, another key requirement for Bartoline in order to meet retailers’ demand for sustainable packaging that complies with waste regulations.
"We’ve always enjoyed excellent quality of product and service whichever RPC site we have worked with,” explains Stuart Ockleton of Bartoline Limited. "The printed pails from RPC Oakham have given Easipaste a distinctive and durable presence on retail shelves.”
