MRNF Approves Exploration Orbite to Extract Minerals at Cap-Chat Pilot Plant

Exploration Orbite (TSX VENTURE:ORT.A) is pleased to announce Ministère des Ressources naturelles et de la Faune (MRNF) has authorized the company to extract the mineral substances needed for metallurgical processing at its Cap-Chat pilot plant.

The approval allows Orbite to extract a maximum volume of 500 tons of aluminous clay specimens in bulk from its Grande-Vallée site. This quantity is deemed essential to conducting the metallurgic tests slated for early 2011 at the Cap-Chat plant.

"We are especially pleased to have obtained the necessary approval from Ministère des Ressources naturelles et de la Faune and to have been able to extract and transport the claystone to the Cap-Chat plant. The 500 tons of extracted aluminous clay have already been processed at our Cap-Chat plant, which will allow us to begin the tests according to plan. This stage is another critical step toward making our pilot plant operational and clearly reflects our progress," declared Richard Boudreault, the company's president and CEO.

The company is pleased to announce that it is on schedule and preparing to start work on the second pilot project in the first quarter of 2011. It is also evaluating the possibility of mining other materials from the Grande-Vallée claystone deposit using its patented extraction process.
