Coating Excellence International (cei), the Wisconsin based market leading flexible packaging and technical products company today announced the opening of its third flexible packaging manufacturing facility, located in Appleton, Wisconsin.
The addition of this new world-class facility will provide cei with nearly one million square feet of combined manufacturing space, further expanding its flexible packaging capabilities. The facility will house a state-of-the art tandem extruder and related high speed equipment. cei currently serves flexible packaging customers in a wide variety of food packaging sectors including cheese and condiments, as well as pet food and treats, specialty consumer, industrial and agricultural, lawn and garden, tobacco, wipes and towelettes markets.
"We are thrilled to be able to offer our customers these expanded capabilities that will complement our already diverse product offerings while sustaining our reputation for the industry's highest level of quality and service," stated Robb Schaefer, cei's Executive Vice President of Flexible Packaging.
"The new tandem extruder and support equipment combined with our experienced product development team will allow us to continue to bring our award winning innovative solutions to market timely, efficiently and cost effectively," stated Ed Sanders, cei's Vice President of Product Technology.
Additionally, cei recently invested in the growth of its Wrightstown facility with the addition of a Totani pouch machine, and new product development technologies which will advance cei's testing and innovation capabilities.
