Structural Enhancement Technologies Corp. (OTCBB:EMWW) announces the approval for Extreme Mobile Coatings, Inc, a wholly owned subsidiary, of its anti-microbial "surface protector" powder by the National Sanitation Foundation International ("NSF") under the NSF/ANSI 51 standard.
This approval allows the company's wholly owned subsidiary, Extreme Mobile Coatings, Inc., to apply its approved proprietary powder coating in food service establishments nationally. The coating will be used for anti-microbial protection on food dispensing equipment, and food preparation and food dispensing surfaces.
Extreme Mobile Coatings has approval as a national franchiser of coatings delivered, in situ, to protect surfaces using both corrosion protection coatings, and/or anti-microbial protection coatings with its own delivery process.
Franchises will be offered in the Eastern and Southern regions of the United States starting in January of 2011. The company, in addition to its franchise efforts, will be offering its services directly to large restaurant chains on a direct from the company basis, where such chains have multi units, large volumes and are national in scope.
The company will offer a testing service for monitoring the on-going efficacy of its anti-microbial coatings. This service will roll out in the second quarter of 2011 as a supplement to its application services.
The company is filing for further approvals by the NSF for its new line of "Nano Silver" liquid anti-microbial coatings. This will allow the company to tailor its anti-microbial product offerings to customers to allow them to optimize cost and longevity trade-offs.
