Oogie’s Snacks, makers of Oogie’s Gourmet Popcorn, are launching a new package design for their current all-natural popcorn lineup at the Winter Fancy Food Show in San Francisco January 16th-18th.
With a successful business selling their popcorn in grocery stores across the country, Oogie’s Snacks has turned their attention to enhancing the brand as they begin the expansion of their operations.

The new packaging begins shipping to stores in January. The new design has a simplistic style with bright colors that reflect the playfulness of the company and prominently features a single popcorn kernel that is appealing to consumers.
“I think this fresh new package design will really differentiate our popcorn and help it pop off the shelves,” says Eric Thier, Co-Founder and President. “Our previous bag was great, but we felt it was time to update our image with something more modern and fun.”
Based in Denver, Colorado, Oogie’s was founded in 2005 by a small group of friends looking to provide a healthy snack alternative. The popcorn is kettle popped in pure corn oil and uniquely flavored using all-natural ingredients, unique gourmet cheeses and spices. Oogie’s is 100% whole grain and has no cholesterol, no trans-fat and is gluten-free.
“Popcorn is the original snack food and has always been a family favorite,” says Thier. “It continues to gain momentum in the snack category as consumers seek affordable, gourmet comfort foods that fit into their healthy lifestyles. Oogie’s Gourmet Popcorn is poised to help meet that demand.”
Seven distinct gourmet flavors are available including White Cheddar, Movie Lovers Butter, Sun Dried Tomato & Parmesan, Smoked Gouda, Spicy Chipotle & Lime, Asiago & Cracked Pepper and Hatch Chili Con Queso. Additional flavors are in development and will be launched later this year.
Oogie’s Gourmet Popcorn is available at thousands of retail outlets across the U.S. including Whole Foods, Kroger, Giant Eagle, and Vitamin Cottage.
