Tim Freeman, Director of Operations for powder characterisation company Freeman Technology, will deliver two presentations at Bulk Solids India 2011 (6 - 9 April, Mumbai).
These will cover the use of automated instrumentation in powder characterisation and the benefits such technology can bring to the powder processing industries. Newcomers to this conference, Freeman Technology will also be exhibiting. Visitors are invited to their stand number 2.4
In the first of his presentations (April 6), Tim Freeman will discuss how the full characterisation of a powder, across a range of conditions, is vital to the design and troubleshooting of unit operations. His second presentation (April 8), will illustrate how recent advances in powder characterisation allow process engineers to predict powder behaviour, configure process equipment in response to that behaviour, and then use this information to enhance Quality by Design in the pharmaceutical processing environment.
Freeman Technology provides systems for the measurement of powder flow properties. With a strong process focus and significant commitment to R&D and applications development, the company delivers extensive know-how alongside its universal powder tester, the FT4 Powder Rheometer.
