EcoBlu Products and Luxor Industrial Corporation have signed a memorandum of understanding for Red Shield coatings. Based on the deal, Luxor will produce lumber products with Red Shield coating and will distribute them across the U.S. and Canada.
Luxor, a wood coatings applicator based in Abbotsford, British Columbia, enables EcoBlu Products to improve the supply chain of coated western lumber products across the U.S. and Canada. At present, Luxor produces large volume of Western Doug Fir for distribution in Connecticut.
With the help of EcoBlu Products, Luxor has shifted to Red Shield coatings. Currently, the latter company produces Red Shield-protected wood products through EcoBlu Products’ quality control management system. This major shift supports the growth of Luxor’s IBS3000 and IBS 2000 engineered floor bridging products.
EcoBlu Products’ President and CEO, Steve Conboy stated that by collaborating with Luxor, the company will be able to serve the west coast, east coast and Canadian markets. Conboy added that Luxor plays a key role in the company’s distribution plan for Red Shield coated lumber products.
