FilmTack declared that it has expanded its slitting and rewinding lines for window films and the expanded facility’s total area is now more than 23,000 square feet.
Funds for the expanded facility were obtained from internal sources. According to the expansion plan, one more line will be added as an option within a month. The entire facility, which features a state-of-the-art tinting showroom, has a capacity to store more than 38,000 rolls of window films.
Singapore-based FilmTack is a business-to-business company that supplies window films for important private labels serving the Asia Pacific market. Window films are widely utilized in residences, offices and vehicles for ultraviolet and heat protection against adverse sun rays and to reduce the effect of shattered glass in case of accidents.
According to Poon Teo Kim, who serves as FilmTack’s Managing Director, the company is happy about its expansion program as it will allow it to better serve its increasing customer base and simplify its operations in upcoming inflation scenario. The expansion will further strengthen the position of Singapore as a key distribution hub for window films in the market, he added.
