Fuel Cell Materials, a division of NexTech Materials, Ltd. announces the updating of its e-commerce website www.fuelcellmaterials.com. This site is the portal through which researchers, developers and integrators can get information on and order the wide range of standard and custom solid oxide fuel cell (SOFC) and fuel processing components and materials available from NexTech.
The complete revision of the site is another step forward for NexTech’s customers. The update site has many new benefits, including easier navigation, online-searchable database, online ordering of standard products, forms for requesting custom products, and downloadable MSDS and product data sheets. By logging into FuelCell Materials.com you become a member of the “NexTech Community” on www.nextechmaterials.com, giving you access to members-only white papers and presentations.
According to Jon Foreman, Sales and Marketing Manager, “Our Fuel Cell Materials division is the leader in customer service and value among component and materials suppliers in the fuel cell industry. We have designed our site so that customers can see the product specifications and pricing then proceed immediately to placing orders and requesting custom products. This can result in time savings on the order of days, particularly for our international customers.”
NexTech Materials has invested significantly in improving and scaling its Fuel Cell Materials fabrication processes and production equipment. Foremost among the improvements are new ceria and anode materials that perform better and are more cost effective. Standard products are available on the website in quantities from 50 g to 20 kg. Larger quantities (up to ton-level) are available and can be requested through phone and e-mail enquiries.
Fuel Cell Materials offers customers standard and custom components and materials for SOFCs, including the NextCell™ advanced electrolyte supported cell. Anodes, cathodes and electrolytes are available as nanoscale and micron-scale powders, inks and suspensions. Fuel reforming and WGS catalysts and sensor components are available for research and integration into fuel cells and fuel processing devices. Standard materials and components are generally shipped within one business day while custom materials and components are fabricated generally within three weeks of ordering.
NexTech’s business strategy is to expand its manufacturing and materials technologies to meet the needs of the emerging commercial fuel cell market. NexTech is a leading developer and supplier of materials and components with customers located in over 25 countries and comprising leading researchers, developers and manufacturers throughout the world.
