A new entity, ElectriPlast has been formed by Integral Technologies, a company engaged in the innovation, development and distribution of electrically conductive hybrid plastics, to commercialize, sell and market ElectriPlast, a patented portfolio of Integral's conductive plastics.
According to the announcement, ElectriPlast becomes a completely-owned subsidiary of Integral Technologies. Herbert Reedman, who has been appointed as a member of Integral's board, will control the operation of the Philadelphia-based unit. He will entirely manage the company’s patented line of conductive plastics that includes more than 80 blends.
Chairman and CEO, Bill Robinson stated that as there is a growing demand for electrically conductive resins and the company has taken this initiative in order to gain complete advantage of its position in this evolving market.
ElectriPlast’s products have a wide range of applications, including medical devices, capacitors, antennas, shielding and wire and power electronics. Engineers and designers in various industries seek methods to produce lighter, portable and fuel efficient products. Life sciences, heavy industry, lighting, automotive, military, aerospace, consumer electronics and many other industries show interest in the use of ElectriPlast conductive resins.
Integral Technologies has recently added new products to the ElectriPlast line of conductive resins, which include ElectriPlast EP-CF/66 polyamide and nickel plated carbon fiber composite material.
