APCS 2013: Momentive Specialty Chemicals to Highlight Line of Axilat Copolymers

Innovative products from Momentive Specialty Chemicals Inc. (“Momentive Specialty Chemicals,” “MSC” or the “Company”) that deliver solutions to coatings professionals will be featured at this year’s Asia Pacific Coatings Show (APCS), Sept. 12 – 13 in Bangkok. MSC will present products manufactured at its new facility in Chonburi, Thailand.

Several new featured product lines within the Axilat™ brand of water-based styrene acrylic copolymers are being produced at MSC’s Chonburi facility to support customers who formulate paints, roof tile coatings, plasters, flexible membranes, adhesives and other products. These products will be showcased in the Company’s booth B-1 in Hall102. The plant, which significantly increased the Company’s capacity to produce acrylic-based resins, was specifically designed to offer an expanded product line to better serve customers in this region.

“Our products are formulated to provide outstanding performance characteristics to meet our customers’ needs,” said Julia Harp, Senior Vice President, Momentive Specialty Chemicals. “Attendees to the show can learn more about how the line of Axilat copolymers is specifically designed to provide high binding power, excellent wet scrub resistance, excellent environmental performance and resistance to water and alkalis.”
