ThyssenKrupp Ferroglobus, a company of the Materials Services business area, has further strengthened its market position in Eastern Europe. In the Hungarian capital Budapest the materials experts have expanded their service center for slitting, cutting-to-length and plasma cutting, and opened a new production shop.
The new shop is 4,398 square meters in size. In total the facility offers 66,948 square meters of production and storage space. State-of-the-art saws, cutting-to-length, slitting, plasma and torch cutting equipment provide excellent processing capabilities to complement the company’s warehousing services. In addition, a further 4,398 square-meter production shop is currently being built for tube processing. It is due to go into operation in spring 2014.

With Poland, the Czech Republic, Russia, Bulgaria, Slovakia and Hungary, ThyssenKrupp Materials Services is represented on all the major markets of Eastern Europe.
