Sequoia Starts Manufacturing 'DiamondFlo' Polymer

After two years of research and development, Sequoia Interests Corporation has moved into the commercial phase of its development of DiamondFlo polymer.

DiamondFlo has been proven effective in the removal of hydrocarbon contaminants from various types of dirt, sands and shale. In recent tests by researchers at Sam Houston State University in Texas, DiamondFlo removed up to 99.6% of hydrocarbon residue from contaminated soil.

Sequoia Interests has set up a manufacturing facility in the Houston area that can produce up to 2,000 gallons of DiamondFlo weekly. The next step in the company's development is to build or acquire a demonstration unit that will show prospective clients how the product works.

Ted Leslie, CEO of Sequoia Interests, said he has entered into negotiations with an environmental assessment firm that oversees a site with significant contamination. "It could present a perfect opportunity to confirm just how effective DiamondFlo can be in a real-world setting," Leslie said.

Sequoia Interests Corporation is a developer and marketer of a proprietary, cost-effective, biodegradable formulation for the oil & gas industry and remediation industry. The company's cornerstone formulation, DiamondFlo has the unique ability of making oil flow by displacing oil adhered to a solid. The primary target market for DiamondFlo is the enhanced oil recovery sector, both secondary and tertiary, and remediation of oil and gas toxins including heavy metals.
