AMETEK Test & Calibration Instruments (TCI), an established leader in materials testing equipment, has launched a new global website: www.ametektest.com. The new site replaces two existing company web sites: www.lloyd-instruments.com and www.chatillon.com.
The new website invites visitors to experience the full range of materials testing and force measurement instruments offered by AMETEK TCI all in one place. Some of the recognized brands that AMETEK TCI manufactures and supplies to a wide variety of industries include Lloyd Instruments materials testers, Chatillon force testers, and Davenport polyethylene terephthalate (PET) testers.
Among the key new features of www.ametektest.com is the Learning Zone, which provides materials testing professionals with helpful tools such as video tutorials, articles, application notes, materials testing glossary, a selection of international standards for materials testing, and thorough explanations on the test types commonly used within materials testing and force testing.
The backbone of the website is easy navigation, which allows users to find what they are looking for in virtually no time! Users can navigate by material if they are not sure which product they require or they can go to the Products menu to find a specific type of product.
The website covers materials testing and force measurement instruments such as materials testing machines, force gauges, application specific testers, such as the TA1 food texture analyzer and FT1 friction testing machine - and of course all of the accessories needed to build a materials tester that matches a user’s exact testing needs.
