PANalytical, the world’s leading supplier of analytical instrumentation and software for X-ray and related techniques, announces their free webinar on XRF theory in application - which technology is better, WD or ED? on 7 April 2016, presented by Christos Tsouris, product manager Zetium, PANalytical B.V., The Netherlands.
A lot has been discussed about energy dispersive and wavelength dispersive X-ray fluorescence (EDXRF and WDXRF), especially with the improvements in EDXRF technology. Both technologies have their individual benefits and this webinar will explain those in detail. Categories that will be presented include elemental and analytical range, resolution, detection limits and sensitivity.
The combination of ED- and WDXRF in one system, using SumXcore technology, results in benefits that the individual technologies could not provide. The benefits include speed and throughput gains by up to 50%, precision improvements, seeing the unexpected, enhanced quality control and confidence, and dual compliance. Various real-life industry examples will be shown comparing the use of one technology versus the combination.
This webinar will include a live question and answer session for our attendees.
