More Body Armour Ordered for US Marines

Simula have announced that they have received another order for small arms protective inserts (SAPI) for the US Marines. The latest order is valued at $3.3 million and is to be delivered by September 2004.

This order takes the total SAPI orders placed on Simula over the last 10 months to $36.6 million. It also makes them by far the most significant supplier of SAPI to the US armed forces.
