Simula Receive Body Armour Orders into 2004

Simula have received yet another order for Small Arms Protective Inserts (SAPI) body armour from the US Army’s procurement agency. The latest order is valued at US$27.5million.

Delivery of this order is scheduled for completion at the end of September 2004. The contract also allows for three one year extensions, with possible capacity increases of up to 50% in any single year.
