Goodyear to Close American Tyre Plant

Goodyear have decided to close their tyre manufacturing plant located in Huntsville, Alabama, USA. The closure will be effective form December 5, 2003.

The closure has been brought about by their need to reduce capacity in North America, and this particular plant was one of their highest cost plants to operate.
