Basell to Build Polypropylene Plant in China

Basell announced late last year that they would begin construction of a polypropylene plant in China. Work will begin on the new 55-60 kT plant later this month.

The new plant will be built in the Suzhou Industrial Park, 80 kilometers west of Shanghai, with production to commence in early 2005.
