Asynt develops, supplies, and supports new, sustainable and novel products central to the laboratory and is committed to investing in new technologies that respond to the real demands of industry and academia. As a global supplier providing world-leading technologies for scientific research, Asynt’s unique range of innovative products and services are developed by chemists, for chemists with an emphasis on being effective, sustainable and safe.
Since inception, Asynt has developed the DrySyn range (a clean, safe alternative to oil baths and heating mantles) both reducing costs in purchasing / disposal of oil and a 35% reduction in energy consumption.
They also pride themselves in reducing laboratory water consumption using our air-cooled CondenSyn units suitable for both reflux and distillation, and highly effective water circulators.
Asynt's team has a wealth of experience in multiple fields within the scientific sector and works hard to help its customers find the best possible solutions for their requirements.
Key product lines available include Asynt ReactoMate Lab Reactors, the DrySyn heating and cooling blocks, and tools from Adam Equipment, BioChromato, Bohlender, Bronkhurst, Buchi, Grant, Hanna Instruments, IKA, IMTEK, J-Kem, Julabo, Labcold, Lauda, Memmert, Stirling Cryogenics, Swissgas, Steroglass and Vacuubrand amongst others. The Asynt catalogue features a broad range of scientific equipment and consumables ranging from bench top laboratory scale to pilot plant and beyond both in the chemical and biological sectors.
Asynt’s Managing Director, Martyn Fordham, spent almost twenty years dealing with the requirements of research chemists (at the outset just custom glassblowing) before forming Asynt. For Martyn, having the right staff who are both knowledgeable and dedicated to customer support has been the key to Asynt’s successful growth.
