About the webinar speakers:

Didier Bonvin is a graduate of the Federal Institute of Technology in Lausanne (EPFL), Switzerland specializing in material science. Shortly after, he joined ARL (Applied Research Laboratories) in their headquarters in Ecublens, Switzerland, where he started as head of Quality Assurance for XRF. In 1990, he was named Product Manager responsible for X-ray fluorescence (XRF) instruments at Thermo Fisher Scientific in Ecublens, Switzerland.
He later managed the Integrated XRF-XRD instruments as well. In 2009, he took on the additional responsibility of Energy Dispersive XRF. Since 2022, he has been the Product Application Manager for the XRF portfolio of spectrometers. He is the author and co-author of several papers and has presented about XRF at many international conferences.

Ling Schneider brings extensive experience across nanotechnology, battery, and chemical industries to her role at Thermo Fisher Scientific. After returning to Germany from the USA, she transitioned to the scientific instrument manufacturing industry, serving as a product manager for seven years.
In 2024, Ling joined Thermo Fisher as the Product Manager for XRF, specializing in benchtop and floor-standing EDXRF and WDXRF instruments for both research and industrial applications. She holds a PhD in Chemistry from the Max-Planck-Institute for Polymer Research in Mainz, Germany.
