Developing a Design Space for Powder Characterization

In this webinar, Dr. Guy Stimpson, an Application Scientist, explores advanced techniques in powder testing, focusing on tableting and die-filling operations.

This webinar will explore the complexities of powder characterization, emphasizing the importance of using multiple metrics to fully understand powder behavior. Dr. Stimpson will also demonstrate methods for consolidating data from various test procedures into predictive models, aiding in the selection of powders for manufacturing processes.

Key Learning Objectives

  • The differences between a single variable vs. multivariate approach.
  • Case study: Wet granulation for tablet manufacturing
  • Case study: Developing a design space for die filling in tablet manufacture
  • Conclusions: Which technique is better?
