AZoM - metals, ceramics, polymers and composites : 45 Series Plastics Granulators from Rapid Granulator AB

Rapid Granulator AB has introduced its new 45 series of granulators. The new series, which covers three model sizes with cutter house openings of 450x600mm, 450x900mm and 450x1200mm, has been designed to incorporate an extensive range of features.

The features include a safety interlock system, a speed-related sensor which ensures the rotor is stationary before the cutter house can be opened, and double scissors that reduce the force required to cut through plastic waste, therefore saving on energy output and subsequent running costs.
