400 varieties of copper alloys are available. Copper forms alloys more
freely than most metals.
The following datasheet gives an overview of UNS C82500 copper
casting alloy.

Machinability
The machinability rating of UNS C82500 copper alloy is 30.
Welding
UNS C82500 copper alloy can be welded using brazing, soldering,
coated metal arc welding, and gas shielded arc welding techniques.
Oxyacetylene welding technique is not suitable for welding this alloy.
