Polyphenylene Oxide - Modified - PPO 10% Glass Fibre Reinforced

Polymer Type

Thermoplastic

Advantages

Improved tensile strength, flexural modulus, and oxygen index and heat distortion temperature compared with unmodified PPO.

Disadvantages

Reduced elongation at break, notched izod impact strength and electrical characteristics compared with unmodified PPO. High mould temperature (~110°C/230°F) required reducing strain in mouldings.
