Introduction

Magnesium is among the most abundantly available elements in the earth’s crust. It has a silvery-white appearance and is commonly alloyed with aluminum, zinc, lead and other non-ferrous metals. Magnesium AM100A-F alloy exhibits good weldability, tensile and yield strength and elongation. It is used in sand casting and permanent mold casting.
