Introduction
ZK61 alloy is a Mg-Zn-Zr alloy with high creep resistance and good tensile properties at both room and elevated temperatures.
This alloy is normally used in T6 tempers and is susceptible to microporosity. It is not weldable, and hence its practical applications are severely restricted.
The following datasheet will provide more details about ZK61 alloy.
