Cutting transmission electron microscopy (TEM) discs from metals, alloys, and any ductile materials with a Disc Punch is the preferred approach.

  • ELIMINATES PUNCHED AREA/DISC: The ability to view and remove the punched area/disc simplifies collecting and enables multiple punching in a single action
     
  • SUPPORTS PISTONS: Cutting and support pistons are perfectly aligned to ensure a crisp cut edge and simple removal of the punched disc
     
  • PROVIDE ACCURACY: The rigorous and long-term usage of the strong metal base assures accuracy
     

  • USAGE OF PISTON RIM DESIGN: Overall compression and cutting forces are prevented from extending into the specimen’s central area by a unique piston-rim design
