Dow Corning’s Anti-Friction Coating Decreases Noise in Automotive Brake System Applications

Dow Corning is supplying Molykote D-708 anti-friction coating to a major brake producer for decreasing noise from the brake-pad clips. Currently, Tier 1 suppliers have found this dry-film lubricant useful on disc-brake systems of many vehicles.

Researchers at the Holst Centre in Eindhoven have portrayed a new method of producing flexible and thin sheets of organic light-emitting diode (OLED). The researchers, Paul Blom and Ton van Mol, detailed an inexpensive, newspaper-style “roll-to-roll” printing process.
