DuPont Opens Ballistics Facility at DuPont Knowledge Center in Hyderabad, India

DuPont recently opened its latest ballistics testing facility at the DuPont Knowledge Center in Hyderabad, India. The state-of-the-art facility houses a ballistic testing range, a 600-ton helmet press and stab testing equipment. It is the fifth DuPont site for testing protection materials in ballistic applications.

Researcher to Develop Food-Grade Nanoparticles for Nutrient Delivery

The U.S. Department of Agriculture has awarded a three-year grant worth $400,000 to David Julian McClements, a food scientist and a nutrient encapsulation expert at the University of Massachusetts Amherst (UMass Amherst), to explore the design and synthesis of all-natural nanoparticles to incorporate nutrients like oil-soluble vitamins to food products.
