DUNMORE Corporation is protecting mission critical payload instruments carried aboard the Mars Atmosphere and Volatile EvolutioN (MAVEN) space mission and the spacecraft itself. DUNMORE's multi-layer insulation (MLI) materials shield onboard electronics from extreme temperatures as the spacecraft travels ten months to an orbit around Mars.

Altuglas Reintroduces Plexiglas Acrylic Sheets for the Aerospace Market

Altuglas International has reintroduced Plexiglas® II UVA and Plexiglas® P55 acrylic sheets to the aerospace market. Both acrylic sheets are preshrunk and specially designed for use in a wide variety of aircraft components including military canopies, aircraft windshields, wing tip lights, instrument clusters, helicopter bubbles, aircraft side windows and other transparent aerospace enclosures.

Boeing Partners with TPI to Establish Production Aerospace Surface Treatment Facility in UAE

Boeing will partner with Tawazun Precision Industries (TPI), a Tawazun Holding subsidiary, to establish a production aerospace surface treatment facility in the United Arab Emirates (UAE). In a joint announcement with Tawazun today at the Dubai Airshow, company representatives said this partnership introduces a new aerospace manufacturing capability in the Middle East region.

Mubadala Enters Agreement with Boeing to Supply Advanced Composites and Machined Metals

Boeing and Mubadala Development Company (Mubadala) today announced a new strategic agreement that will increase the long-term role of Mubadala as a Tier 1 supplier to Boeing. Through their agreement, signed at the 2013 Dubai Airshow, Mubadala has the opportunity to supply as much as $2.5 billion in advanced composites and machined metals to Boeing commercial programs, including the 787 and 777X.
