Aleris declared that it has inked a five-year deal with Airbus at the Paris Air Show to supply a wide range of aluminum alloy sheets and plates for Airbus’ worldwide programs.

Aluminum Plate and Sheet to be Supplied by Kaiser Aluminum to Airbus for Commercial Aircraft

Kaiser Aluminum Corporation (Nasdaq:KALU) today announced it has reached agreement in principle with Airbus to supply aluminum plate and sheet for use in the production of commercial aircraft. The multi-year agreement is subject to definitive documentation, will commence upon the completion of the companies' existing supply agreement, and will extend Kaiser Aluminum's longstanding role as a major supplier of high quality semi-fabricated aluminum products to Airbus.

Toray Industries to Supply Carbon Fibers to TenCate Advanced Composites

Toray Industries has entered into a new five-year agreement to supply high-performance carbon fibers to TenCate Advanced Composites. The fibers will be used to produce lightweight thermoplastic composite material, TenCate Cetex RTL, for aerospace applications.
