Bolt Technical Ceramics from Morgan Advanced Ceramics Offers Fused Silica Rollers with Outstanding mechanical and surface Properties

The Bolt Technical Ceramics business of Morgan Advanced Ceramics (MAC) offers Fused Silica Rollers. The outstanding mechanical properties and special surface quality of the Bolt fused silica rollers make them ideal as transport rollers for tempering flat glass used in a variety of industries.

The Bolt fused silica rollers are specifically engineered for use in annealing furnace applications due to their high flexural strength and low coefficient of thermal expansion. The transport rollers are widely used throughout the world in the manufacturing of tempered safety glass for the automobile industry and architectural applications, such as shop-window glass, curtain walls and glass doors.

Bolt Technical Ceramics, located in Fairfield, New Jersey, supplies the fused silica rollers, which are manufactured under the Haldenwanger brand name in Morgan Advanced Ceramic’s facility in Yixing, China. The rollers are available in a wide variety of standard dimensions, with outer diameters ranging from 15 to 110 mm, and in lengths ranging from 1300 to 4100 mm, with or without fitted metal end-caps. Custom designs and dimensions are also offered.
