Dec 15 2007
Large celebrations were held on 5 and 6 December 2007 at Arburg’s Danish subsidiary. On the first day, Arburg Partners Eugen, Juliane and Michael Hehl were in Greve, with numerous invited guests in attendance, in order to officially open the new premises and to congratulate Subsidiary Manager Eddie Oswald and his team on the ten-year anniversary of Arburg’s Danish subsidiary. The following day, numerous visitors attended the open day in order to see the new premises at Greve.
On the first day, Subsidiary Manager Eddie Oswald welcomed the guests and thanked the Hehl and Keinath families for their trust in the Danish Arburg subsidiary and its employees. There followed a speech by Michael Hehl, Managing Partner and Spokesperson for the Arburg Management, who emphasised the great significance of the customers for Arburg. “The customer was, is, and remains our most important capital. Customer proximity and customer satisfaction have always been top priorities for Arburg.”
New domicile for comprehensive customer support
In terms of customer proximity, the new location in Greve is strategically well-located, close to the motorway to Copenhagen and about half an hour from the airport. It is also only 18 km from the old location and therefore easily accessible for both our customers and our staff. Here, on an area of 350 square metres, we have modern offices, a well-stocked spare parts store and a show room offering sufficient space for four Allrounders. In addition to its function as a forum for showcasing our products, the show room also serves as a place where customers can, for example, try out a new mould or receive practical assistance in dealing with injection moulding problems arising in practice. A modern training room has also been integrated into the show room in order to offer practical customer training courses in Greve.
“This ensures that we can continue to serve the customers in Denmark in an exemplary fashion” says Michael Hehl – something for which Eddie Oswald and his team are renowned.
In order to officially open the new premises, Eugen, Juliane and Michael Hehl and Eddie Oswald then took up the scissors and, together, cut through the opening tape.
Independent organisation for the last decade
In the second part of the event, Managing Partner Juliane Hehl congratulated Eddie Oswald and his team on the tenth anniversary of the Danish Arburg subsidiary and presented them with a certificate and an anniversary sculpture in recognition of their performance and as a souvenir of the celebrations.
In her speech, she underlined the great significance of this day for Arburg. Her father, Eugen Hehl, also made the trip to Denmark in order to celebrate both occasions in the appropriate setting.
Juliane Hehl illustrated the long tradition that Arburg associates with the Danish market using a few facts and figures: As early as 1959, Arburg delivered the first machine to Ulstrup and Arburg has been represented in Denmark for almost 30 years by Eddie Oswald – initially working for a trading partner, then with his own company and, finally, as Managing Director of Arburg’s Danish subsidiary.
“Long-serving employees such as Eddie Oswald demonstrate that, despite all the innovative technology, people are a very decisive factor”, stressed Juliane Hehl. Furthermore, she used the context of the anniversary celebrations in order to congratulate Service Coordinator Knud-Erik Lang on his tenth anniversary with the company and to thank him for his commitment and performance during his long service.
Many years of cooperation in Denmark
The official part of the event was concluded by the chairman of the Danish plastics association, Peter Skov. In his speech, he described the current situation in the Danish plastics industry and thanked Arburg for its commitment to plastics training facilities in Denmark and also thanked Eddie Oswald for a decade of commitment to the Danish plastics association.
Subsequently, Eugen Hehl, Managing Partner and advisor to the Arburg management team, personally thanked all the guests for the many years of cooperation.
Show room in focus
After the guests had taken refreshments at the buffet, the new premises were inspected. The main focus here was on the new show and training room, where four Allrounders were presented with various applications, including three machines from the successful Allrounder Golden Edition machine series and the vertical Allrounder 275 V machine.
The next day, the Arburg subsidiary opened its doors to all interested parties.
The visitors were impressed by the new show and training facilities and congratulated Arburg Denmark on its new premises.
