Two days after announcing its donation of RMB 500,000 to the Red Cross Society of China for earthquake recovery efforts, PPG Industries has announced that for each can of Masterâe™s Mark Paint, IVY paint and Seigneurie paint sold in May and June, the company will donate RMB 1 Yuan to aid in recovery efforts in the disaster area.
"Through this program, consumers can buy environmentally-sound paints to decorate and protect their homes and also help support restoration of infrastructure in the affected areas,"said Cathy Yan, general manager, government affairs and business development, PPG/Asia Pacific. As they decorate with PPG coatings, our company will help people and businesses in the disaster areas to rebuild.
