Hydro is showcasing infinite ideas in aluminium at the Aluminium 2008 trade fair in Essen, Germany, September 23-25.
More than 16,000 visitors are expected at this popular trade show – the world’s largest gathering of the aluminium industry.
The ALUMINIUM fair in Essen grows in size year by year, reflecting the full supply chain of the aluminium manufacturing and processing industry. This year, it provides the backdrop for more than 715 exhibitors from approximately 40 countries to showcase their innovations.
This will be Hydro's seventh appearance on the trade fair in Essen. Hydro's exhibition stand, covering an area of 400 square meters, can be found in Hall 3, near the main entrance.
Hydro is involved in every step of the aluminium value chain, from bauxite mining to alumina refining to primary production and everyday products – and don’t forget recycling. The possibilities are truly infinite.
With its own presentations at the accompanying conferences and as a top sponsor of the European Aluminium Award, Hydro is once again assuming an important role within the international aluminium community. Hydro's executives will be on hand for speeches and press interviews, and the company will host a number of events.Hydro conference

Scientists in Aachen
Coinciding with ALUMINIUM 2008, the 11th International Conference on Aluminium Alloys (ICAA) will take place in Aachen from September 22 to 26.
This forum, organised by a committee chaired by Hydro researcher Jürgen Hirsch, will provide an opportunity to present and discuss new trends in science and technology. All in all, it will be the very best conditions for a unique aluminium week for all experts.
A shuttle service will transport visitors between the ICAA, the ALUMINIUM 2008 convention and the exhibition.
