Corus, has announced the launch of two new Steel Service Centres in Ireland at Dublin and Lisburn, as part of its ongoing commitment to improving service for customers.
The new regional centres will provide a fast, convenient and highly flexible service for customers using smaller quantities of steel on a more local level.
Customers will be able to source a wide range of steel products including structural, sheet or plate products. Both Service Centres also feature Trade Counters so, for the first time, customers be able to ‘call and collect’ steel themselves, selecting from a wide range of standard sizes and specifications.
Corus Ireland Regional Business Manager, Eddie O’Reilly, explained, "In addition to providing a rapid, reliable delivery service, we are now able to offer an ‘off-the shelf’ service for customers who need steel straight away. With our new rapid loading systems in place and the additional loading bays, we can offer a fast turnaround on orders from our extensive stock with minimum waiting. This makes collection the answer for people who need immediate access to steel products. It’s proving a big help for customers in meeting urgent deadlines, or sourcing unforeseen additional project materials, where for example delays on-site could result in wasted man-hours."
He added, "As part of Corus Ireland Service Centres, we give customers all the benefits of buying from a major leading company, such as large stocks, competitive prices and an extensive product range, together with the fast, flexible service that you would expect from a smaller, local supplier."
In addition to the two new centres, Corus has an existing regional Steel Service Centre in Cork, plus a large processing and supply hub in Lisburn.
All the Corus facilities in Ireland are accredited to the ISO 9001:2000 standard as well as being CARES Approved Stockists and Fabricators, so the quality of materials throughout storage, processing and packing to final delivery is if the highest standards.
