DuPont Automotive Systems recently received a suppliers “Q1 certification” award from Ford -- one of its top customers -- for delivering outstanding automotive finishing services to Ford plants in São Bernardo do Campo and Camaçari, Brazil.

The international certification recognizes DuPont as one of a few companies to receive this honor for the quality of its products and services. To receive the award, suppliers must meet or exceed several requirements established by the manufacturer. Some requirements include: delivery timing, ongoing support, capacity in the production process, rapid problem solving, costs, environmental responsibility and technical innovation.
“We are proud to receive this certification,” said Antonio Carlos de Oliveira, automotive original equipment manufacturer coatings director, DuPont Latin America. "We must maintain excellence to remain deserving of this recognition and stay ahead of our competitors.”
