Leading Contemporary Designer Showcase Architectural Masterpiece

“Exercises in Another Material” – a design exhibition involving a group of 14 large-scale architectural objects produced by Sottsass Associati , a leading contemporary design agency – is made with DuPont™ Corian®.

“Pillars” one of the 14 architectural shapes created by Sottsass Associati using Corian®.

The experimental nature of the 14 architectural forms, reminiscent of columns, walls and room dividers, allowed Sottsass Associati to push the boundaries of traditional design.

The exhibition is taking place from now until Dec. 1, at the Mudam Museum in Luxembourg.

“The exhibition has been a turning point in the history of Corian®, a material that has changed the world of design with its innovative functional and aesthetic properties,” said Simon Langlois, business development manager, DuPont Building Innovations, Europe, Middle East & Africa.
