Radici Group Gain Environmental Certification for Polyamide Production

Radici Yarn SpA -an Italian company belonging to the RadiciGroup Fibres business area -has obtained UNI EN ISO 14001:2004 certification for its environmental management system related to the development, manufacture and marketing of polyamide 6 polymer and polyamide 6 and 66 masterbatches, staple fibre and continuous filament yarn at its Villa d'Ogna (BG) and Pistoia (PT) production sites.

This certification was a very important step for Radici Yarn, which is one of most well-known and trusted manufacturers of polyamide 6 and 66 (Radilon®) POY, FDY and FOY used for weaving, texturing and circular, warped and seamless knitting, as well as polyamide 6 (Radilon®) staple, tow and masterbatches. Radici Yarn is a leader in product quality and always at the forefront with its sustainable development agenda aimed at environmental preservation. Certitex – an independent certification organization for the textile and clothing industry in Italy and abroad - audited Radici Yarn polyamide 6 polymerization, POY and FOY spinning, staple spinning and masterbatch production at the Villa d'Ogna site and the polyamide 66 POY spinning process at the Pistoia site. At both sites Certitex also checked the sorting, packaging and shipping processes.
